Ordering and Payment 

Order Processing Time
There is a 24 - 48 hour (1
 to 2 business days) processing time for all orders regardless of their shipping method. However, we strive to ship orders out as quickly as possible.

​We process orders from Monday - Friday. Sometimes we may come in over the weekends to accommodate the demand for our products! Orders that are fulfilled on Saturday or Sunday will not actually be shipped out until the following Monday.   
We do not process orders on weekends and major U.S holidays.



Payment
We only accept PayPal as a payment option at this time.

 As required by PayPal, we can only ship orders to PayPal verified addresses. All orders above $750 USD (including shipping and tax) will require a signature confirmation (Someone must be available to sign for the package).


​Taxes:
We will automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for all orders shipped within the state of California.
For all other states, you are solely responsible for sales tax or other taxes due.​

International Customers

Customer is responsible for ALL customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees etc. that may need to be paid to receive your order once your shipment reaches it's destination. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. Voltage Hobbies does not know when additional fees will apply. These additional fees are the responsibility of the customer, Voltage Hobbies will not be held liable for these additional fees. Refused or returned shipments in which Voltage Hobbies incurs additional shipping fees will be assessed on the return credit. Please do not request that we falsify your invoices (list a lower amount), mark them as a gift, or suppress tariff codes or country-of-origin information, as it would be illegal for us to do.


Due to the added risk of shipping internationally, Voltage Hobbies is not liable for the loss or seizure of any package as a result of customs inspection in any country. In addition, Voltage Hobbies will not be liable for lost or stolen packages during transit. 
These are some of the following countries that may be excluded from shipping/shipping insurance:
Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Burma, Congo, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast (Cote d'Ivoire), Liberia, Nigeria, North Korea, Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Venezuela. In addition, truck/rail shipments to and within Mexico other than as a connecting conveyance and any location that would be in violation of any U.S. economic or trade sanctions including OFAC Restricted Countries. For shipments to Russian and other Commonwealth of Independent States countries (includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) coverage ceases upon touchdown of the aircraft at the airport of destination or upon discharge from the overseas vessel at the destination discharge port. This means that if a package is scanned into these countries, coverage ceases.

Shipping and Handling

Where we ship to
We ship to all 50 States in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, APO and FPO addresses.
Our main shipping partner is USPS, but we may ship with another shipping provider for over-sized items or international shipments. 
All orders are shipped from Torrance, CA.

Please note
As required by PayPal, we can only ship orders to PayPal verified addresses. All orders above $750 USD (including shipping and tax) will require a signature confirmation (Someone must be available to sign for the package).


​Incomplete or Incorrect Address Submissions
Please review your shipping address carefully when placing an order. Errors in the shipping address will causes delays in transit times or returned orders. We will not reship the order until it is returned to us by the courier and the customer has paid for the cost to reship the order.
 
Estimated Transit Times:
USPS First Class Mail 1-5 business days* in transit.
USPS Priority 1-3 business days* in transit.
USPS service days: Monday - Saturday. 
APO/FPO: For orders shipped to military addresses, the shipment can take up to 14 days in transit.

​Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, the tracking number will be sent to the email address used to place the order if tracking is available for shipping method .

Please do not be alarmed if the delivery confirmation (USPS version of tracking) for your package has not updated in a few days. USPS delivery confirmation does not update until the package has reached a sort facility or your local post office. There are no updates in between. All delivery issues should be addressed with your local post office. Find your local post office here.

USPS offers speedy and reliable service at a low cost. However, they can and will occasionally make the mistake of mis-routing a package. Unfortunately these errors are out of our control and we are not responsible for errors or delays by USPS.


Late Shipments or Lost Package Claims
We do not guarantee transit times and shipping fees are nonrefundable through us. 
However, the shipping methods listed below are guaranteed directly through the shipping carrier with certain exceptions. These exceptions are usually weather delays and failed delivery attempts. For more information, please contact the carrier directly. If you feel your shipment was late due to a service failure, a claim can be filed by contacting the shipping carrier:

If you have not received your order, and feel your package may be lost, please contact us. 
Before we can file a claim for a lost package, we must allow the U.S. Postal Service the full time allotted for delivery. Here is the timetable for tracing lost packages shipped within the U.S. 
  • USPS Express Mail - 10 business days from the day the order was shipped.
  • USPS Priority Mail - 14 business days from the day the order was shipped.
  • USPS First Class Mail - 21 business days from the day the order was shipped. 
If your package was not delivered within the timeframes listed above, please have your order information ready and contact us. Once notified please allow us 2-3 business days to contact the shipping carrier regarding your missing package. 
Please do not open a PayPal claim against the order, as this will further delay the process.

Refused Package 
If you choose to refuse your package upon delivery, once we receive the package back, we will refund your order minus original shipping and any additional fees that may incur with your package.

Damaged Package Claims 
If you have received your order, and your package was damaged in transit, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of receipt of your package). For customers that may receive damaged packages, please keep all packaging material (box, packing paper, etc.) for verification purposes. We will most likely request that the damaged product(s) be shipped back to us for verification. Voltage Hobbies may also require that photos be taken of damaged packages and or parts for inspection purposes. Photos of damaged goods will help us expedite the process and provide a better resolution. If you attempt to refuse or return the merchandise yourself, you will jeopardize our chances of making a claim. This may delay or affect the return credit.


​Returns and Defective Merchandise 

Returns
​
We will accept merchandise for return that was purchased from Voltage Hobbies within 14 days of receipt. Items must be new, unused and sealed in its original packaging. Items will be refunded at the original purchase price, in the original payment method. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is a direct result of our error.


Non-Returnable Items 
Closeout, Clearance, Bargain Bin, 
Pre-Owned/Used, Modified/Customized, Special Orders (not normally stocked items), and Refurbished items are not returnable. 


Restocking Fee
All returns to Voltage Hobbies are subject to a 10% restocking fee. If you are not certain about the use of an item, please contact either the manufacturer or Voltage Hobbies before you place an order.
To avoid a restocking fee please return merchandise with all the original packaging, instructions, and accessories originally included. Open packaging carefully, keep all packaging in like-new condition. Avoid tearing original packaging excessively (open as neat as possible), when opening package use scissors to avoid tearing packaging or damaging contents inside.


To return a product please follow the steps outlined below 
Before returning a product, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of order. 
Voltage Hobbies will not accept returns without contacting us and arranging the return beforehand.  

Please provide the following information when requesting a return:
  • Original order number
  • Full name and telephone number
  • Describtion of product being returned
  • Reason for return

Return the merchandise within 7 days of finalizing the return process with us. 
Packages returned to us without prior 
arrangement beforehand will be returned to the sender.

Note: Voltage Hobbies is not responsible for return shipping, nor any fees associated with return shipping, unless the return is a direct result of our error. All return items should be packed to assure no damage is incurred during shipping. Voltage Hobbies is not responsible for damage incurred during the shipping process, nor for packages shipped to, but not received by Voltage Hobbies (lost in transit). Please insure packages and avoid shipping methods of carriers that do not provide tracking.

Upon receipt of the shipment, Voltage Hobbies will issue a refund of the purchase price paid less shipping and handling and any applicable restocking fees.



Defective merchandise
Defective merchandise claims are referred directly to the manufacturer of that product. Please note that we are not responsible for defective merchandise and cannot provide refunds for any used and/or defective merchandise. Most manufacturers will repair or exchange defective products as agreed to under their warranty.
If the manufacturer does not handle your claim to your satisfaction, please contact us and we will be happy to help out to the best of our abilities.
