Bargain Bin Voltage Hobbies Servo Mount for ARRMA Kraton, Talion, Typhon, Senton, Outcast
Bargain Bin parts are new but have minor surface imperfections such as dents, stains, and surface scratches. The anodized color may also differ slightly from new non bargain bin parts. Most of these imperfections can easily be buffed/polished out which will give the part a chrome-like finish on the raw/natural finished parts.
Voltage Hobbies is happy to introduce our new Servo Mount for ARRMA Kraton, Talion, Typhon, Senton, and Outcast. Our servo mount is made from 6061 CNC Machined Aluminum for Superior Strength and Durability.
Our full aluminum servo mount will eliminate the excessive steering flex of the original plastic servo mount, providing improved steering response and fewer chances of broken servos.
Designed and manufactured in the U.S.A.
Our servo mount eliminates the use of the plastic spacers used with the original plastic servo mount, and also fits bigger servos up to; 43.5mm Length x 21.5mm Width x 29mm Height (measured from the bottom of the servos mounting tabs to the bottom of the servo).
- 6061 CNC machined aluminum
- 6.3mm thick servo plate with chamfered edges on the inside and out
- 6mm thick mounting posts
- All mounting hardware is included
We recommend using blue (or any medium strength) threadlock on all screws to prevent screws from loosening.
Please follow these steps for installation of your servo mount:
Mount the 4 servo mount posts with the 4 flat head screws provided to the chassis first.
Mount the servo mounts top plate with 4 of the 8 provided button head screws to the posts mounted in the previous step.
Insert your servo into the servo mount, align all holes from servo tabs to clear the top plates holes where screws will be fastening.
For this step, you need the remaining 4 button head screws along with the 4 washers provided. Install the washers onto button head screws, then use the screws with the installed washers to secure your servo onto the servo mounts top plate.
Note: The 2 plastic spacers used under the servo tabs with the original plastic servo mount are not needed with our aluminum servo mount. The only time they may be required is with some tall aftermarket servos to provide additional clearance from the chassis.
That’s it, you have successfully installed your servo mount!
